lindy-36922
Lindy 2 m DisplayPort to HDMI 10.2G Cable

Lindy 36922 is a 2 m directional display cable for connecting a DisplayPort-equipped computer to an HDMI monitor, television or projector. It is useful when a PC or laptop has a DisplayPort output but the receiving screen uses HDMI, such as adding a second desk display or connecting a presentation screen.

Supported video reaches 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz within the 10.2 Gbit/s signal limit. Mirror mode can show the same image on both screens, while an extended desktop can provide another workspace when the computer’s graphics system supports it. The cable does not create those desktop modes independently of the host.

Audio can travel over the HDMI connection only when the computer supplies audio through DisplayPort. The lead cannot add an audio signal to a silent source. Check both the source output and screen input before ordering: the conversion direction is DisplayPort source to HDMI display, rather than HDMI source to DisplayPort screen.

Male plugs connect directly to the matching sockets. Gold-plated contacts and a black PVC jacket define the connector finish and cable construction. Allow enough length for the chosen route without pulling on the plugs; the computer and receiving display remain separate equipment.

What it is

The Lindy 36922 connects a DisplayPort equipped PC or laptop to an HDMI screen or projector.

What it does

Connects a DisplayPort computer to an HDMI display or projector.

Good for

Connects a DisplayPort computer to an HDMI display or projector.

Who it suits

The Lindy 36922 connects a DisplayPort equipped PC or laptop to an HDMI screen or projector.

How it works

It supports video up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz and can mirror a screen or extend the desktop when the computer permits it.

What’s in the box

1 cable DisplayPort to HDMI cable

Compatibility

Connector A: DisplayPort Male
Connector B: HDMI Type A male

System requirements

It supports video up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz and can mirror a screen or extend the desktop when the computer permits it.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1058/8992/3355/files/ubc-lin36922-google-6d084f61ce35e3976fbe.jpg?v=1791953974
