The Casio fx-1AU GRAPH is a colour graphics calculator for mathematical work that combines plotted, tabulated and numerical representations. Its 224 × 396-pixel display supports the calculator’s graphing and application interface, making it suitable for permitted study and course use.

Graph and Table, 3D Graph, dynamic graphing and conics provide several ways to examine functions. Statistics, Distribution, probability simulation and recursion support data and mathematical analysis. Financial, geometry, Python and Base-N applications extend the supported workflows. The app set is specific to this Australian generation

Four AAA alkaline cells or the recommended NiMH types provide power. The USB 2.0 Type-C terminal handles computer communication and does not charge installed cells. A 2.5 mm connection is also provided. Auto power-off options help manage battery use, while duration depends on brightness, workload and battery type.

The calculator weighs approximately 225 g including batteries and measures 18.6 × 88 × 187.5 mm. A dedicated exam mode restricts functions, but does not itself establish permission from an examination authority. Check the course requirements before purchase and use the supported software version for functions such as ECON5 data logging.

Its colour screen and numbered menus provide access to calculation, graphing, statistics, equations and geometry.

Calculates numerical results, plots functions and explores statistical and geometric relationships.

Compatibility

The calculator uses four AAA alkaline batteries or the specifically recommended rechargeable NiMH types. A suitable USB connection supports file communication without charging the installed cells.

App and setup

Insert the four supplied AAA alkaline batteries and configure language, display, power and battery settings. NiMH cells require a suitable separate charger and must be removed for charging. Computer transfer requires a compatible USB connection.

Protect the display with the front cover. Clean lightly with a soft dry cloth; avoid solvents, water, humidity, dust, strong impacts and extreme temperatures. Use the specified batteries, replace all four together and do not mix brands, types or old/new cells. Back up important data; do not remove batteries during memory activity.

Exam-mode availability is not exam approval. Confirm course and examination rules. USB does not charge installed AAA batteries.

Compatible computer and appropriate USB cable for file transfer. Optional supported NiMH batteries require their specified external charger. Cable inclusion not yet established.
