The C36 shares a separate broadband connection across dual-band Wi-Fi 7 and three local Gigabit Ethernet ports. The broadband input is a 2.5 Gigabit WAN port; it does not turn the three LAN sockets into 2.5 Gigabit ports. Theoretical wireless link rates up to 688 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 2882 Mbps at 5 GHz. Wi-Fi 7 Multi-Link Operation and mesh expansion depend on compatible devices, and this model does not list a 6 GHz radio.
The exact Australian A1 datasheet lists a 180 × 120 × 42.2 mm, 350 g router, 12 V/1.5 A power and a 0–40 °C operating range. The Australian quick guide pictures the router, adapter, Ethernet lead and guide as the four included items. Use D-Link FALCON for basic setup or the web interface for advanced settings.
The three LAN sockets suit local wired devices while Wi-Fi serves compatible mobile clients. A faster WAN does not increase the individual Gigabit LAN limit.
Connect the included power adapter and Ethernet cable to a suitable active broadband handoff. Configure the router through D-Link FALCON on a compatible iOS or Android device, or use the web interface for advanced settings. Broadband service and any extra mesh unit are separate purchases.

Compatibility
Three Gigabit LAN ports connect wired clients. Dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi serves compatible clients; Wi-Fi 7 MLO needs compatible client hardware and configuration. D-Link Wi-Fi Mesh expansion requires a confirmed compatible C-series unit. There is no 6 GHz radio in the C36 A1 specification.
App and setup
Connect the included power adapter and Ethernet cable to a suitable active broadband handoff. Configure the router through D-Link FALCON on a compatible iOS or Android device, or use the web interface for advanced settings. Broadband service and any extra mesh unit are separate purchases.
Operate the router at 0–40 °C and 10–90% non-condensing humidity, with its vents and five external antennas unobstructed. D-Link A1 storage limits are −20 to 65 °C and 5–95% non-condensing. Use the specified 12 V/1.5 A adapter and keep the unit dry.
Dual-band model. MLO and other Wi-Fi 7 features require compatible clients. Advertised rates are theoretical.
Active Ethernet WAN or suitable separate modem, mains power and compatible devices/app.
350 g for the C36 A1 router in D-Link Australia’s sheet; excludes adapter, cable and retail carton.
excludes antennas and retail carton unless D-Link confirms otherwise.
Australian A1 sheet specifies 12 V DC / 1.5 A input, maximum 17.1 W consumption and RCM. It lists 2.4 GHz up to 688 Mbps and 5 GHz up to 2882 Mbps theoretical wireless link rates; actual speeds depend on client, environment and broadband service. The router has one 2.5 Gigabit WAN and three Gigabit LAN ports.
