you’re getting.
D-Link DGS-1100-08PV2 adds 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports to a wired network. Its web interface lets you configure traffic separation and monitor connected equipment.
Use VLANs to separate supported network traffic, prioritise important data with QoS and bandwidth controls, and use cable diagnostics or loopback detection when troubleshooting. Each copper port negotiates 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps with compatible connected equipment.
All eight ports support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, with up to 30 W on one port within the shared 64 W switch budget. Check the combined power needs of your access points, cameras or phones before connecting them. The supplied external power adapter runs the switch; Ethernet cables and connected devices are separate.

Specifications
What’s in the box
DGS-1100-08PV2 switch, external power adapter, rubber feet, wall-mount hardware and setup documentation as listed in the manufacturer guide. Network patch cables and connected devices are separate.
Compatibility
For copper Ethernet equipment supporting 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps over suitable RJ45 cabling. PoE devices must support IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at and fit within the per-port and total budget. Internet access still requires a separate suitable router/modem and service.
Setup and management
Use a connected computer and browser for the switch's local web interface. Configure VLANs, QoS and port settings as needed, then save the configuration. Use the manual and firmware matching the exact V2 hardware revision; do not assume features from larger models in the series.
Power and installation
The 64 W PoE budget is shared across all eight ports. A port can offer up to 30 W only when the remaining budget permits; this is not eight simultaneous 30 W outputs. Keep ventilation clear and use the specified external adapter.
Hardware revision
The linked A1 manual and datasheet cover the V2 model. Check the hardware label before selecting firmware. The series brochure also covers other products; PoE, fibre, management and power features differ by model.
Warranty and support
D-Link's linked AU/NZ limited lifetime policy applies to eligible original purchasers through authorised channels. Its hardware cover ends when ownership ends or five years after discontinuation, whichever comes first; power supplies and fans are excluded from that lifetime cover. Manufacturer terms and claim requirements apply. Australian Consumer Law rights are additional.
