The D-Link DCS-6100LHV2 is a fixed-view indoor camera for viewing a room through the mydlink system. It records Full HD 1920 × 1080 video at 15 frames per second with a 110-degree field of view. Infrared night vision is specified up to five metres under the manufacturer's conditions.
A compatible Wi-Fi network, internet-connected router, power and mydlink account are required for setup with a supported iOS or Android device. Local recording uses a separately supplied microSD/SDHC/SDXC card up to 256 GB. Cloud recording is an alternative subject to the current eligible service and plan terms, so it should not be presented as unlimited free storage.
The camera's direction is set by physical placement: it has no motorised pan-and-tilt mechanism or Ethernet port. Choose an indoor position with suitable Wi-Fi reception and uninterrupted power. The small 60 × 60 × 104.4 mm body helps with placement, but its indoor designation remains the relevant limit for exposure.
