Neither creates an outdoor rating for this indoor model. A stable upload connection matters for remote use: the manual recommends at least 1.5 Mbps for live viewing or 3 Mbps for cloud recording. The memory card is separate and must meet the compatibility and formatting requirements. Cloud features remain dependent on current service terms rather than a permanent free-recording promise.

Secure the camera and keep the adapter plugged into an outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch.
