The D-Link DCS-8302LH is a fixed-view Full HD camera with both Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking. It captures 1080p video at 30 frames per second across a 135-degree view, with infrared night vision specified up to five metres.
Networking can use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or 10/100 Ethernet. The mydlink setup requires a compatible app, account, router and internet connection. Recording options include a separate microSD card up to 256 GB, an eligible mydlink cloud plan or a compatible ONVIF Profile S recorder. Each option has its own storage, service and configuration requirements; cloud access is not a promise of unrestricted free recording.
For outdoor use, D-Link directs installation under eaves or similar shelter, with the rubber plug facing down and no continuous water exposure. The supplied power adapter also needs the protection required by the instructions. The camera has no motorised pan-and-tilt mechanism, so positioning establishes the view.

Care and safe use
The A1 manual limits outdoor placement to sheltered, covered locations with the rubber plug down; do not invert or expose continuously to water. Close the microSD cover before outdoor use. Disconnect power and wipe with a damp towel; do not submerge or clean with liquids or solvents. Technical-table operating range is -20 to 45 °C and up to 90% RH non-condensing.
