The DGS-105 is a five-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch. It adds wired connections to a suitable existing network without a management console: connect its power adapter, the upstream network and up to five Ethernet links in total. It does not itself create an internet connection or act as a router.
Fanless operation, plug-and-play setup, Energy-Efficient Ethernet and metal housing. Each wired link can negotiate with compatible 10/100/1000 Mbps equipment, while actual shared data speed still depends on the upstream link and traffic. No Power over Ethernet output is established for this model.
It suits a desk or small network cupboard where a few more wired ports are needed.
One of the five sockets is normally used to join the existing network, leaving the others for local equipment. The absence of a fan is useful near a desk, while unmanaged operation avoids a separate configuration task. Hardware revisions have different body measurements and masses, so C6 and E1 figures remain separate rather than being combined into one exact dimension claim.

Use and product notes
Connect the specified external 5 V DC / 1 A adapter, an Ethernet uplink to the existing network and suitable Ethernet cables for connected devices. The switch is unmanaged and needs no configuration; a separate router/service supplies Internet access. Verify the adapter supplied in the Australian carton.
Use the specified 5 V DC / 1 A adapter and keep ventilation clear. No outdoor or ingress-protection rating is stated.
Does not provide PoE. Each connected link shares the available upstream network capacity.
Ethernet cables, connected network devices and an upstream router or switch are required for the intended connections.
Housing: Metal.
External 5 V DC / 1 A adapter is specified in both C6 and E1 datasheets. Power consumption and temperature ranges vary by revision. the switch has no wireless radio.
