The DWR-M955X joins a 4G LTE Cat 4 modem and AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 router in one desktop device. Use an active Nano SIM and compatible mobile service, or connect an Ethernet broadband service to its Gigabit WAN/LAN port. The maker sheet lists theoretical Wi-Fi rates up to 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1204 Mbps at 5 GHz, subject to client, signal and network conditions.
It provides instructions for joining the printed default Wi-Fi network and for optional EasyMesh pairing. Neither a Nano SIM nor mobile data service is in the package, and the router has no VoIP handset ports.
The setup guide supplies a printed default Wi-Fi network and supports app or browser configuration. Automatic failover does not remove mobile-plan charges or guarantee that every application session will continue without interruption.
Connect the included power adapter, insert a compatible active Nano SIM if using 4G, and/or connect a suitable Ethernet broadband service to the WAN socket with the included Ethernet cable. The exact AU guide says the default Wi-Fi name and password are on the rear label; setup can be completed with the D-Link Wi-Fi Assist app or a browser. Configure cellular/Ethernet failover as needed. A SIM/data plan or wired service is separate.

Compatibility
Supports a compatible active Nano SIM (4FF) and LTE data service, or an Ethernet broadband modem/connection box at its Gigabit WAN/LAN port. Three separate Gigabit LAN ports serve wired clients. D-Link AU lists LTE bands B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28/B38/B40/B41; Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 uses WPA/WPA2/WPA3 as in the maker sheet. The router does not provide VoIP handset ports.
App and setup
Connect the included power adapter, insert a compatible active Nano SIM if using 4G, and/or connect a suitable Ethernet broadband service to the WAN socket with the included Ethernet cable. The exact AU guide says the default Wi-Fi name and password are on the rear label; setup can be completed with the D-Link Wi-Fi Assist app or a browser. Configure cellular/Ethernet failover as needed. A SIM/data plan or wired service is separate.
The exact D-Link sheet gives −10 to 40 °C operating temperature, −40 to 70 °C storage and 10–95% non-condensing humidity. Use the specified 12 V/1.5 A adapter, leave space around the four external antennas and ventilation openings, and keep the router dry. The AU quick guide states that holding Reset/WPS for 10 seconds restores factory defaults and erases the existing settings.
No VoIP support. LTE and Wi-Fi headline rates are theoretical; carrier coverage and band support must be checked.
A compatible SIM and mobile plan for LTE, or an active Ethernet WAN connection, with provider settings.
180 g router body in the exact D-Link DRS sheet; excludes power adapter, leads and retail carton. Confirm supplied hardware revision before freight use.
164 × 101 × 187 mm (W × D × H) for the router
The exact maker DRS sheet specifies adapter input 100–240 V AC and 12 V DC / 1.5 A output. It lists LTE FDD/TDD bands, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi up to 300 Mbps and 5 GHz up to 1204 Mbps as theoretical rates. The sheet states CE but not RCM; inspect the actual Australian unit/adapter marking and plug before making a compliance or plug-shape claim.
