The two socket types accommodate different existing charging leads. Use a separate suitable USB-C cable and a device supporting the required Power Delivery profile for the highest USB-C output. A compatible USB-A lead can connect equipment using that socket instead. GaN identifies the charger’s specified power-conversion design, rather than guaranteeing a particular temperature or charge time.
