The Eve Motionblinds small-tube upgrade kit adds a rechargeable motor to a compatible existing roller blind. It replaces the chain mechanism with the supplied motor and fittings, allowing the blind to participate in supported smart-home control. This is an upgrade assembly rather than a complete blind: the existing roller tube, fabric and installation must match the kit's fit requirements.
The selected small motor is rated at 0.5 Nm and is designed for bare tube outside diameters of 25–30 mm. The minimum blind width is 570 mm. Those measurements apply to the tube and blind arrangement described by the manufacturer, not an estimate taken across wrapped fabric. The larger Motionblinds motor has different fit and torque specifications and is not interchangeable by assumption.
A built-in battery recharges through USB-C. Wall or ceiling mounting is supported. Smart operation uses Matter over Thread and requires a separate compatible Matter controller and Thread border router, plus the supported platform app. Feature availability follows the chosen ecosystem and the correctly installed blind.
