Eve Play AirPlay Audio Streaming Interface
Eve Play adds AirPlay reception to a suitable amplifier, receiver or active-speaker system. It lets a compatible Apple source send audio to equipment that already has an appropriate line-level or digital input, so an existing audio system can join the network-listening setup without replacing its speakers.

Eve Play adds AirPlay reception to a suitable amplifier, receiver or active-speaker system. It lets a compatible Apple source send audio to equipment that already has an appropriate line-level or digital input, so an existing audio system can join the network-listening setup without replacing its speakers. The unit is a receiver and interface, not a power amplifier.
Connect through stereo RCA analogue outputs using the supplied cable, or use the optical or coaxial digital output with a suitable separate lead. The analogue path uses a Texas Instruments PCM5122A digital-to-analogue converter. A local network connection can use 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and the supported Audio Sync function permits automatic or manual delay adjustment for the listening setup.
A current compatible iPhone or iPad is required for setup, together with the network and receiving audio equipment. Passive speakers cannot connect directly for amplified playback. Eve Play also does not send a record player or another external source out over AirPlay or Bluetooth; its role is receiving AirPlay audio. Playback resolution depends on the sending device and supported path. The package includes the interface, power supply, RCA cable and quick guide.
