Video support reaches 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz, and supported HDMI audio passes with the picture. HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 define the interface and content-protection versions. Choose a source format that both receiving screens accept, and use suitable HDMI leads for the selected mode. The presence of HDMI sockets does not add newer formats outside these limits.
