The microphone arm rotates through 180 degrees, so it can sit on either side of your head. Move the boom level with your mouth for voice capture, then rotate it away when it is not needed. The adjustable headband and swivel-mounted foam cushions let you adjust the fit.
Setup uses the green plug for headphones and the red plug for microphone input. Logitech excludes direct compatibility with Mac, Chromebook and tablets on this dual-plug model.
The two-plug arrangement is the key buying distinction: a computer with only one combined headset socket does not offer the direct connection specified for H110. Its analogue design avoids a wireless charging or pairing routine. Microphone directionality concerns voice pickup, not an active noise-cancelling function in the listening earcups.
