Scotch 2020-48MP Contractor Grade Masking Tape is a 48 mm-wide, 55 m roll for masking suitable durable surfaces during painting and general work. Its natural-rubber adhesive is for appropriate vinyl, carpet, metal and plastic surfaces.
Apply it to clean, dry, dust-free material and press firmly. The manufacturer instructs users to allow 30–60 minutes before painting, then remove the tape once paint is touch-dry by pulling it slowly back at about 45 degrees.
The removal windows are up to three days indoors and one day outdoors, subject to the manufacturer’s application conditions. This is not a blanket suitability claim for delicate or easily damaged finishes.
Pull a length of tape from the roll, cut it with a suitable dispenser or scissors, and press the adhesive side onto an appropriate clean surface.
