you’re getting.
Shokz OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade is an open-ear bone-conduction headset for calls and everyday listening. An adjustable boom microphone brings voice pickup closer to your mouth, while dedicated mute and volume buttons keep common call controls within reach.
Direct Bluetooth pairing suits compatible phones, tablets and computers. Multipoint lets you switch between two paired devices rather than hear both at once. The Loop 120 computer adapter is a separate accessory and is not included with this version.
The 2025 model uses USB-C charging, with up to 16 hours of calls or eight hours of music under Shokz test conditions. A five-minute charge can provide up to two hours of calls. Its lightweight wraparound frame leaves the ear canals open; IP55 protects against dust and splashes, with no swimming or immersion use.

Specifications
What’s in the box
OpenComm2 2025 Upgrade headset, USB-C charging cable, hard-shell carrying case and instruction documents. No Loop 120 adapter is included. A mains power adapter is separate.
Compatibility
Bluetooth audio and calling require a compatible source device and supported profiles. A separate Loop 120 can provide the manufacturer's computer-adapter connection. Shokz excludes gaming consoles and some transmitters.
App and settings
The 2025 headset supports the Android version of Shokz App; iPhone Bluetooth audio does not imply iOS app support. Shokz Connect is available for Mac and Windows for supported firmware, adapter and headset settings. Check current operating-system requirements before installation.
Power and use
This USB-C charging model differs from older magnetic-charge OpenComm headsets. Runtime figures are manufacturer maxima under laboratory conditions and vary with volume, calls, connection and environment. The headset switches off while charging.
Care and fit
Keep the charging port dry before connecting power. IP55 resistance can decline with wear; do not immerse or swim with the headset. Move the fixed boom gently through its permitted range, up to 180 degrees; it is not detachable. Follow the linked guide for operation and fit.
Warranty and support
Shokz’s Australian policy covers manufacturing defects for 2 years on eligible new genuine products purchased through authorised channels. Keep the purchase receipt and serial number; manufacturer terms apply. Australian Consumer Law rights are additional.
