The Shokz app provides control over its open-ear noise reduction and sound settings, including the manufacturer’s Optimized for Dolby Atmos mode and head tracking. Physical buttons handle common controls, while optical and capacitive wear sensors pause or resume playback when the earbuds are removed or worn.
Bluetooth 6.1 provides a range of up to ten metres, and app-managed multipoint connects two devices for switching. Noise reduction changes battery endurance: Shokz quotes up to 12 hours per charge with it off, or six hours with it on. The case extends those totals to 50 or 24 hours respectively. Charge by USB-C or a separate Qi-compatible charger. The IP55 rating applies only to the earbuds; the case must stay dry.
Wear detection reduces the need to pause manually when removing the earbuds, while physical buttons provide a different control method from touch-only designs. Noise reduction is adjustable for this open-ear fit rather than a claim that the ear canal is sealed. Choose the battery figure that matches the enabled listening mode. The separate Qi charger is optional, and neither the case nor the earbuds are intended for swimming.

Compatibility
A2DP, AVRCP, HFP; IP55 is limited to the earbuds and degrades with wear. Not for swimming or other water sports. Wireless charger is separate. Battery claims differ between noise-reduction settings.
App and setup
Recharge using the supplied cable and case. Use the Shokz app for supported settings and firmware.
Use a soft dry cloth and dry cotton swab for the mesh. Disconnect before cleaning. Do not rinse or use ultrasonic cleaning, alcohol, acetone, abrasive products or sharp tools. Keep the case dry; allow all parts to air-dry before using or charging after water exposure.
