The Rise Up kettle heats water for tea, coffee and other hot drinks. Its 1.7 L maximum capacity is described by Sunbeam as enough for up to seven standard cups. The push-button lid and water window help when filling; the white plastic body sits on a 360° rotating power base with storage for excess cord.
Fill between the marked minimum and maximum levels, seat the kettle on its own base and use a suitable 230–240 V AC outlet. Press the on/off switch to boil. The kettle switches itself off when boiling ends, with separate boil-dry and overheat protection. These safety controls do not remove the need to supervise hot water.
The removable mesh filter can be cleaned after the kettle cools. Descale the kettle regularly and wipe the exterior with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse the electrical switch area, cord or base.
