The SDP1500BK brews ground coffee directly into a cup or the supplied tumbler. Its separate milk-frothing jar makes hot froth or cold foam, allowing hot and iced drinks from the same appliance. Coffee grounds, water, milk and ice are added by the user.
Use the reservoir and scoop markings to measure ingredients. The manual describes a 3–4 minute brew and milk markings of 150 ml for cappuccino froth or 200 ml for latte froth. Iced coffee is brewed over ice; the appliance does not make ice.
Clean the frothing jar after each use and descale the coffee circuit monthly as directed. The filter and brew basket can go on the dishwasher top rack. Hand wash the tumbler, lid and straw, and keep the electrical base out of water.
The separate frothing pitcher supports milk preparation alongside coffee brewing, rather than adding espresso pressure to the coffee circuit. The supplied 650 ml tumbler is larger than the maximum 475 ml water fill, leaving room for the recipe's ice and other ingredients. The double-sided scoop and markings help make the recipe repeatable. Care and safe use
Keep below the 475 ml reservoir maximum. Use filtered water. Avoid contact with the brew spout and hot frothing surfaces. Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse the electrical base. Hand wash tumbler, lid and straw; only brew basket and filter are explicitly top-rack dishwasher safe. Descale monthly using the manual procedure.
