you’re getting.
The VREC-H120SC is a front-facing drive recorder that mounts to the windscreen. It records up to 1.5K resolution through a 124-degree diagonal field of view, with a 2 MP GC2083 sensor and WDR processing. Loop recording can use one- or three-minute segments, and the G-sensor supports event recording around an impact.
The camera has no built-in display, GPS, rear camera or ADAS functions. Recorded footage can be played from the microSD card on a computer or through the compatible Pioneer phone app. A card must be installed for recording.
The supplied mount, power adapter and 3.5 m cable support installation in a compatible vehicle. Parking mode requires the separately purchased RD-HWK300 hardwire kit and installation by a trained automotive technician. The guide specifies Android 11 or later and iOS 13 or later for the app.
The screenless design relies on the app or card playback rather than an on-camera monitor for reviewing footage. That suits a compact installation, but phone compatibility is important if local app access is part of the intended routine. Event recording and loop segments serve different purposes: the G-sensor marks an impact-related event while loop recording manages continuing footage in segments. Wi-Fi connects locally to the phone and does not establish cellular remote monitoring. Parking recording is an additional installation requiring the specified hardwire kit, not a function delivered simply by leaving the accessory-socket adapter connected.
