Parking mode requires the separately purchased RD-HWK300 hardwire kit and suitable installation. Driver alerts provide warnings only and do not steer or brake the vehicle. Install the cameras and wiring so they do not obstruct the driver or safety equipment.
The two-camera arrangement records different views at the same time rather than asking the front lens to cover the rear of the vehicle. The 4K front specification is paired with Full HD rear capture, and those resolutions should remain separate when comparing the system. The display provides a local view, while card playback on a computer offers another way to inspect recordings. H.265 encoding is for the video.
