The DUP-A01 attaches to a compatible USB-C host and adds two HDMI 2.0 outputs, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB-C and two USB-A data ports, and SD/microSD card readers. Three data ports are rated up to 10 Gbps and the fourth USB-A port up to 5 Gbps; actual transfer rates depend on connected hardware.
The separate USB-C PD input accepts a charger rated up to 100 W, while the AU datasheet specifies up to 85 W to the host after the hub uses its own power. Dual 4K at 60 Hz is conditional on a host supplying DisplayPort 1.4 video over USB-C.
This hub is useful as a single connection point for a mobile workstation, but the host's USB-C connector alone does not establish display capability. A suitable PD charger is separate. The specification does not establish independent extended desktops on macOS, so two physical HDMI sockets are not presented as a universal two-screen extension guarantee.
Connect the captive USB-C lead to a host with the needed USB data and DisplayPort Alt Mode capability. Connect monitors, Ethernet, storage and cards to their respective ports. To charge the host through the hub, separately supply a compatible USB-C PD adapter and cable rated for the intended power. A router or active network is needed for Internet access through Ethernet.
Connects compatible USB, display, network and storage devices to a USB-C host.
Desk setups, presentations and transferring files from cards and USB storage.
Users of compatible USB-C computers needing several peripheral connections.
The USB-C host link carries supported data and video while the separate power input enables pass-through charging.

Compatibility
D-Link AU lists macOS, Windows 10, Windows 11 and Android. Its AU datasheet limits DP 1.2 Windows hosts to 4K/30 Hz for one display or 1080p/60 Hz for two, and DP 1.2 macOS hosts to 4K/30 Hz for either one or two. Verify the computer USB-C port before sale.
Use and product notes
Connect the captive USB-C lead to a host with the needed USB data and DisplayPort Alt Mode capability. Connect monitors, Ethernet, storage and cards to their respective ports. To charge the host through the hub, separately supply a compatible USB-C PD adapter and cable rated for the intended power. A router or active network is needed for Internet access through Ethernet.
Operate at 0–40 °C and 10–90% non-condensing humidity. Keep the hub dry, avoid covering it during use and connect only compatible USB-C/PD equipment. D-Link AU lists -20 to 65 °C storage temperature. No ingress-protection rating is stated.
100 W is input; host charging is rated up to 85 W.
A compatible USB-C host is required.
98.5 g hub body in the AU v1.1 datasheet; AU product page rounds this to 99 g.
125 × 55.4 × 16.6 mm hub body; D-Link does not label the measurement axes.
Metal housing
USB-C PD input up to 100 W, with up to 85 W passed to the compatible host; external PD charger is separate. D-Link AU lists RCM. The hub has wired Ethernet and no wireless radio.
